mis Taking

"Oh boy, I have a first grandchild, a boy.  I went to see him, and there was a bit of drama that I have not been very good at shaking off.  I am seeing a shaggy dog
being able to shake himself of water.  He has so much fur it never really gets to the skin.  Where did my fur go?

I was wet, glum, letting it saturate in, in, in.  I went to my pilates class,  she looked at me and said, "I want to help you find your true nourishment. "

As I followed the directions, she reminded me of my soul, that it is a higher perspective, and delights in all the experiences we get our selves into, to help us remember who we are and are not.  That sounded familiar.  I think I have said to other people, but I am 'in' it now. 

I breathe, keep following the directions - shoulder blades, rhomboids contact the floor...

There is an internal conversation... some part of me is insisting these sad thoughts and feelings are very real, and important and I need to pay attention to them, "remember this is your truth"

Hum

This is really a good arguer, showing me these images of past experiences to prove.....

Suddenly the thought comes that this is my ego talking.  Very much wanting me to beleive that what I have been experiencing is real. 

Yet as I keep breathing, a larger space is here of basic awareness, not demanding anything.  This is what is becoming more real, as I deepen into each point of connection, just space, no story. 

So funny, I don't usually see my "ego",  It is some part very much  insisting it is right, that this drama is real. 

Breathe.  the session is over.

I get up and share this internal conversation," that was my ego, arguing that stuff is real -*&%^$#!  It is not real.

"Yes, I see you have shifted to your higher perspective, your energy has shifted.  Wonderful to see that happen.  You as a soul are huge, now you are there."

I could see how my energy had gotten scattered in different spaces, and I gently called it back into the center of my head, the spiritual heart, where discernment lives.
