Power has always been illusive to me. What does it mean? Probably something different for everyone. I remember once talking with a woman who had spent three years in a women's spiritual group which had just finished. She was at a bit of a loss. She had been told often she had alot of power - but she confided to me "I'm clueless as to what that means"
Today for a change of pace, I went for a drive to a little town nearby. I entered the country store, asking inwardly, "Is there any thing else that would be helpful here besides the food I am buying? " "Yes" Oh good, the game is on... Glancing about at the antique nick nacks and artsy hand made gifts, the animals were catching my attention, little miniature farm animals and stunning horse photography. They exuded something different. The rack of cards drew me in. Which one? First row - no, second row -no, third row - yes, second in to the left. "Jesse" Wild Mustang Colt.... I bought the card, along with my groceries and drove nearby to walk on a quiet country road There were horses in the field. I sat with them for a bit. The herd.... what is it? With all the shifts lately, there is a new space opening up. I have moved on, with some of my relationships yet others are deepening with meaningful sharing and heartfelt appreciation love flowing. There is a valuing of each of our unique spiritual paths. I have done some equine therapy and love the wisdom they have to share, of being independent and interdependent. I looked up Wild mustang to stimulate further thought. From Shamanic Journey.com " Power comes from opening up to others with compassion and love. By sharing power we are showing other how to develop their own power and make it flourish. This speeds our journey and makes it joyful" That is validating of my experience.. It is the energy that is created in the sharing - this may seem obvious for most people but when one is an introvert and highly sensitive psychically, alot of energy can get in the way of sharing. Sharing fulfills our purpose.. Back to the Title "Yellow Mustang" - I have been noticing them in the parking lot in my apartment complex. Hot yellow. And guess what, my dad had a yellow mustang no it was a fire bird, well close. I sometimes had to drive that thing to school. when I couldn' walk or bike. I was very shy and it was so embarrassing to drive that thing, it even made a low rumbling noise OMG - I think I threw a cloak of invisability around me and it, to get on with surviving high school. So I am thinking that was the power symbol for a man in his midlife crisis, money power, sexual power, being able to communicate in a way that one was "powerful" I see this though, in that time as power over, control, a taking - that was mastery. Perhaps there is that sort of information that still clothes the word "power." We each need to look for ourselves. I left some of my energy back there, resisting that yellow car so much. maybe, throwing the baby out with the bath water. Equating that with power...... I can now see that and call back that energy, into present time. And own the wild mustang energy - of sharing power Do you have any thoughts about power and how that is for you? I 'd love to hear. Love Jill

During this more heightened energy, so much is possible, if we chose to allow and notice what is.
Choosing to have communication be healing, no matter what it may look like. Willingness and so it is. "It does not matter how many hours you work if there is creativity, passion and excellence being expressed: work has changed from duty to joyous life" by Almine
I love this quote because it reflects moving into no time no space of spirit, and time as a tool, present time, that accesses all. Inspirited or inspired. What are you experiencing with this? |
