Soaring

Today on my walk, some birds in the distance catch my eye.  I pause and lean on a steel fence studying  the black wings spread far,  flashes of white catching the sun as they shift direction in the air currents they  sail upon. 

Efforltessly  this pair of eagles are choosing to move from one invisible path to another., not colliding with each other, an air dance, once in a while flapping wings but mostly wings spanned, gliding into different currents that keep them up high in the sky.

 I muse as I step back onto the road "oh, the universe is giving me a message, I think I got it.  Then I wonder, "did I get it? " pausing to look back - the sky is empty.  Chuckling, who is chuckling?


The Breath of Nature 

When great nature sighs we hear the winds
Which, noiseless in themselves
Awaken noises from other beings, blowing on them. 
From every opening
Loud voices sound.  Have you not heard

The element of air is all about thought, the mental realm of ideas where thoughts become the structure through which energy precipitates and coalesces into form - The communication of ideas to make social and intellectual connection.  Too much air can be ungrounded with an inability to  apply ideas, manifesting in scattered and inconsistent.  Too little air can be a lack of perspective, and objectivity of life., difficulties in learning or poor communication skills. To see the eagles, a symbol of higher vision, that is fluid allowing  the current to move them.  Their part is effortless. accepting - a choice though
 Obviously there is no limit to air, yet do we choose to have access to its finer delightful currents that support effortlessness?
 Spirit is effortless.  We are all spirit.  It is a matter of being aware of it within.  And letting yourself have it more and more.. 
  Are you in the mood this year to have more effortlessness in your life?  To coast on more loving pathways?

 I am acknowledging my creative power - seeing the eagles.
